Horses have similar behaviors to humans making it easy for patients to relate to horses. Other animals are often used in therapy, however, horses have… Read More »

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) And SUD (Substance Use Disorder)

AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy) involves animals in a treatment plan designed exclusively for a patient. AAT, coupled with specific goal-oriented treatment, can bring hope to people with SUD and mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, and trauma. Animals give us unconditional love, unlimited support, and are always there for us! If you need to rehome your Pet. . .

If you need to rehome your Pet, please contact a rescue group or shelter to do it for you. That will help keep your Pet from going to the wrong person.  There are good people out there wanting pets and there are people out there that have bad intentions when adopting a Pet.  Rescues and shelters have knowledge of how to “vet” people, checking their references and much, much more to make sure they will be good Pet owners.🐾💛🙏 © 2025 Ashleigh Rose Bottorff, All Rights Reserved.

When you need help getting a Pet to a rescue group or shelter. . .

Please contact your local rescues for help when you have found a Pet and cannot keep the Pet or your need help in live trapping them, for example Feral Cats or Cats you cannot catch, or a Pet who has come to your home and for whatever reason you cannot bring the Pet into your home.🐾💛🙏 © 2025 Ashleigh Rose Bottorff, All Rights Reserved.

When you have lost your Kitty. . .

When you have lost your Kitty, here are a few tips to help get your Kitty home! Get the stinkiest cat food, tuna fish or sardines out, shake treats. Usually they’re just scared and hiding. Put some food or water out ONLY IF YOU CAN WATCH IT, (otherwise you might attract unwanted animals), put out your clothing, Kitty will hopefully recognize the scent, look in hiding places with a flashlight for eye reflections. If you can leave your door open, sometimes they’ll come in at night when things are quiet.🐾💛🙏 © 2025 Ashleigh Rose Bottorff, All Rights Reserved.

If you have found a lost Pet and cannot catch it. . .

Even though you couldn’t catch the Pet, you may still want to file a report so if an owner calls looking for their Pet, the owner will know where the last sighting was. When you have lost or found a Pet, please contact your animal control and shelter and file a report that you have lost or found a Pet. Not everyone is on social media but they might call animal control or their shelter looking for their Pet. If you have found a Pet, most vets and shelters can scan for a microchip, 🐾💛🙏 © 2025 Ashleigh Rose Bottorff,… Read More »
